A wk of attachment in hospital has past... Well, a whole new experience for me... Enjoyed my attachment very much lol... so fun ... meet different types of patients everyday... everyday is a new beginning of each challenges... deals wif different staffs everyday... some were so demandin n proud, while others were so friendly n approachable lol... Anyway, the very first thing i did on the first day of my hospital attachment was- wiping patient's buttock! I was totally not prepared lol... Worse still, is aft break lol... haha... somemore is a male patient lol...! haha... But now i used to it liao... now very experience lol... muhaha... Tried taking vital signs of patients, changing diapers, bathin, transferin n liftin, oral feedin, NG tube feedin, documentation n a lot lot more.... Learnt a lot frm the attachment itself... Become more confidence... oso realised tat teamwork n cooperation was so vital in nursin... I now begin to lik nursin... a challengin job it can b lol... everyday think of going hospital to help out... think of patients everyday... hope tat they will get well soon... n leave the hospital wif a smile... very touched when i heard one uncle sae tis in chinese : " we will not get such gd care n service frm the hospital when u guyz r gone..." so touched lol... almost cried lol... anyway, i cried a few times in the ward... bcoz of a uncle... poor thing lol... haiz... Life's so fragile, n unpredictable... so treasure ur loved ones n show them tat u reali care n loved them ... Tell them how much they mean to u , n most importantly, sae the magical words - I LOVE U...
